~ tuesday thought: picture menu ~

So I stumbled across this picture, and thought that it was such a cute idea...

Then of course I had a thought:  Why not use picture menus at your reception?  I know this might not be your style (it's not necessarily mine)...but with a couple changes (the font and drawings/pictures) I think this is such a cute idea for a casual outdoor affair.  And a great alternative to menu cards with just the meal listed. 

To take it a step further...why not have a picnic inspired event?  With vintage gingham printed tablecloths, picnic baskets as the centerpiece, and a more family style meal...this would definitely be something fun for all!
